Membership at The Standard
Come solo. Find your people. Make it a habit.
We are a Tulsa / Broken Arrow community for runners, joggers, and walkers who want more than miles: familiar faces, new friendships, and a reason to keep showing up. You do not have to be fast or know anyone to join us.
Registration opens soon for Saturday, December 5, 2026 in Tulsa. Membership is optional. The park, exact meeting point, and route instructions will be shared privately with registered participants. Check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9:00 a.m. Central Time. Shirt production takes at least two weeks; the final order cutoff will be shown before payment to allow production, shipping, and a delivery buffer.
Choose what works for you
December 5 single-run pass — $35 once
Includes that day’s group run/walk and one event T-shirt. No membership, founding-member status, ongoing perks, or recurring charge. You can buy future nonmember run entries separately at the price listed for each run.
December 5 run + founding membership — $35 total to start
Includes the same run and event T-shirt, immediate access to available member perks, and your December membership. It is $35 upfront, not $35 plus a monthly fee at signup. Founding status goes to everyone who selects membership during the launch registration window. Single-run purchasers are not founding members.
When do monthly payments begin?
$15/month beginning in January. Register any time during the launch signup window and use available member perks right away. December is our first official club month. There is no additional membership payment in November or December.
Your first monthly renewal is due in January on your original numerical signup day. For example, October 21 or November 21 signup means January 21 renewal. After that, membership continues monthly on that day, subject to the payment system’s month-end date handling.
The initial $35 launch purchase does not automatically enable recurring billing. We will send continuation instructions before your January renewal. Automatic monthly renewal is available only with your consent. Membership is month to month; stop future renewals before your next billing date and keep access through your paid period. Your $15 founding rate is honored for your first 12 consecutive paid membership months—this is a rate guarantee, not a 12-month commitment. Skipping a meetup or declining an RSVP does not pause dues. Processing fees are additional and shown before purchase.
What your membership includes
- Two organized runs/walks each official club month: one regular meetup and one themed meetup, with planned routes and a casual, untimed atmosphere. Members do not pay a separate entry fee for included regular or member-only club runs.
- One separate hosted social outing each month: coffee, breakfast, a picnic, or another planned activity. Dates vary; we share a monthly calendar. Food, drinks, and activity admission are paid separately unless expressly included.
- A personal welcome: come alone and we will greet you, make introductions, and help you meet people to run or walk with.
- Community between meetups: a private Facebook community and member group chat, planned for launch.
- Member-only offers: participating-business perks you can use on your own as well as during outings, according to each partner’s terms, plus 20% off Standard Run Club merchandise.
- Goals and celebrations: optional personal distance challenges, encouragement, and milestone celebrations with your permission. Walking counts too.
- A first-time guest pass each month: bring one first-time guest to a regular meetup while you attend together. Each guest receives one complimentary visit total, subject to advance RSVP, space, and participant requirements.
- A voice and a chance to get involved: vote on outings, themes, merchandise, and occasional routes; propose or host a future run or activity with organizer approval.
- Priority access: first opportunity to reserve select limited-capacity special events when arranged. Separate event charges may apply.
Local perks and occasional extras
The Cedar Bar Co.: Active members receive 20% off event bookings. Mention your Standard Run Club membership when requesting a booking. Subject to booking availability and the business’s normal booking terms.
Our confirmed painting offer is 10% off regular painting classes at Pinot’s Palette Broken Arrow, subject to the partner’s terms. Redemption instructions are shared privately with members. Additional partner offers will be listed only when confirmed.
We may occasionally bring coffee to the park or offer member goodies and themed shirts. These are extras, not guaranteed monthly inclusions. At coffee-shop outings, members buy their own orders. Merchandise, outside race entries, and separately ticketed activities cost extra unless expressly included.
Teens, families, and strollers
Ages 16–17 may attend without a parent staying with parent or guardian permission. Younger teens need a parent or guardian present. Younger children may accompany their parent at suitable meetups and must stay supervised; they do not attend independently. Strollers and accompanying younger children have no extra club fee. Route suitability, advance RSVP, and guardian-consent instructions will be provided with registration. Every attendee counts toward event capacity.
Ready to hear when registration opens?
The interest form is free. It gets you signup news and future-run updates; it does not register you for the December 5 run, reserve a spot, collect payment, or start a membership. The shirt-order registration deadline will be announced once production and shipping timing are confirmed.
Set the standard. Run together.
